NIKE Circular Design Space
A hands-on circular design environment at Nike NYHQ, turning material waste into a visible part of the creative process.
Designing with the end in mind
The space translated Nike's circular design principles into a working studio environment where designers could engage directly with Nike Grind, recycled materials, and the possibilities of reuse. Nike describes its circular approach as extending product life and giving products and materials new life rather than treating waste as an endpoint.
Stainless work surfaces, transparent material bins, tools, samples, and graphic information made the process physical, legible, and deliberately utilitarian.
